Are you aware of your rights about Travel, Finances? During NI Consumer week get the help you need
Are you aware of your consumer rights? Have you concerns about the future of travel? Would you know what to do if you had a parcel delivery problem? Can you manage your personal finances?
From 22-27 March, The Consumer Council is running an online series of events to help consumers in Northern Ireland learn more about their consumer rights and adapt to the impact of COVID-19 and EU Exit.
Every day of the week, new content is being added to a dedicated website (www.niconsumerweek.co.uk) where you can learn about a range of topics. There is a different theme each day, but all videos will be available for weeks following the events:
Monday – Travel and transport; Tuesday – EU Exit; Wednesday – Scams and vulnerable consumers; Thursday – Financial well-being; and, Friday – Young consumers. Videos include: public transport, the future of foreign travel following COVID-19, shopping online, managing debt, changes to travel as a result of EU Exit, money saving tips, debt management, food affordability, parcel delivery rights, and lots more!
To conclude the week, The Consumer Council will be appearing live on BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘On Your Behalf’ show on Saturday 27 March where they will answer your questions live on air. Don’t want to be on the radio? No problem as you can submit your questions on the Northern Ireland Consumer Week website anonymously and The Consumer Council will publish an answer online.
The whole thing is absolutely free and no registration is required. Enjoy the videos at www.niconsumerweek.co.uk. If you have a consumer complaint, call The Consumer Council for free now on 0800 121 6022 or email contact@consumercouncil.org.uk
