There will be 25 categories this year, the winners will be decided entirely by public vote with the exception of the Editors Choice Award

Categories this year are:

Personal Contribution to the Community - award honors an individual who has made a significant, positive impact on the LGBTQIA+ community through their dedication, advocacy, and service. This award recognizes those who go above and beyond in their personal or professional lives to support, uplift, and champion the rights and well-being of LGBTQIA+ individuals

Wedding Supplier - award recognizes a vendor or business that has shown exceptional dedication to providing inclusive and high-quality services for LGBTQIA+ weddings. This award celebrates suppliers who ensure that all couples, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation, feel respected, welcomed, and celebrated on their special day.

Wedding Venue - a venue that excels in providing an inclusive, welcoming, and exceptional environment for LGBTQIA+ weddings. This award honors venues that go above and beyond to ensure all couples feel respected, celebrated, and supported on the run up to and on their special day

Legal Representation Award - honors a law firm, legal team, or individual lawyer who has demonstrated exceptional commitment and skill in advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and equality through legal representation. This award recognizes their pivotal role in defending the legal rights and freedoms of LGBTQIA+ individuals, advancing social justice, and promoting inclusive legal practices. By celebrating their achievements, this award highlights the importance of legal advocacy in creating positive change and ensuring equal rights and protections for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Ally of the Year - Sometimes it is our non-LGBT allies who make a massive difference to our community, this could be a work colleague, friend or family member who has proven their intent to create a more inclusive society.

Business Contribution to the Community -  This award honors who welcomes and embraces all, a company that has demonstrated a significant and positive impact on the LGBTQIA+ community through its policies, practices, and outreach efforts. This award recognises businesses that go beyond mere compliance with equality standards to actively support and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.

Reputable Retailer Award - this category honors, familiar names our towns or high street, businesses that demonstrate exceptional commitment to inclusivity, ethical practices, and community engagement. This award recognises a retailer that sets a high standard in both their business practices and their dedication to fostering a welcoming environment for all customers and employees.

Financial Institution Award - recognises a bank, credit union, investment firm, or other financial entity that has made outstanding contributions to the LGBTQIA+ community. This award celebrates financial institutions that not only provide inclusive and equitable financial services but also actively engage in advocacy, support, and community-building efforts

Supportive Media Award - a media organisation, publication, or platform that has made outstanding contributions to promoting understanding, visibility, and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community. This award honors media entities that use their influence to advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, tell diverse and authentic stories, and provide a platform for LGBTQIA+ voices

Entertainer of the Year - honors an individual, group or identity in the entertainment industry who has made a significant and positive impact on the LGBTQIA+ community through their work and advocacy. This award celebrates performers who not only excel in their craft but also use their platform to promote visibility, acceptance, and equality for LGBTQIA+ individuals
