The Azlans Strip Off: Belfast’s Inclusive Rugby Team Launches "Bold" Calendar to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

BELFAST – 27 November 2025 – The Azlans, Northern Ireland’s inclusive rugby team, are stripping their kit and launching their first-ever fundraising calendar. The Calendar is in celebration of the team’s 10th-anniversary.

Titled ‘10 Years Bold’, the 2026 calendar is more than just 12 months of fun, cheek and well-placed rugby balls, it is a tribute to the players, friendship and community that have been a part of the team for a decade. Featuring players from across the team, the calendar is a celebration of inclusion and camaraderie that defines the Azlans, both on and off the pitch.

Funds raised from sales will go directly toward supporting the team’s participation in upcoming major tournaments, including the 2026 Hadrian Cup and the 2027 Union Cup, Europe’s largest inclusive rugby competition. These tournaments represent key sporting opportunities for the team and serve as key moments for visibility and representation within the wider rugby and LGBGTQ+ community.

"We wanted to do something fun to mark our 10th year that captures the spirit of the club. While there are plenty of laughs in the calendar, it’s also about body positivity and showing that rugby truly is for everyone”, said Adam, Azlans Team Captain. “Every purchase helps us to further invest into the development of inclusive rugby and help see Northern Ireland represented on a national and international stage, so we really appreciate the support."

The calendar is available to buy from our club website:
