HANNAH JANE LEWIS RELEASES BRAND NEW SINGLE LOVE LETTERS

Surrey-born songstress Hannah Jane Lewis has released her brand new single, Love Letters. The ethereal and dreamy track is led by Hannah’s soft yet soaring vocals. She has said of the release,"Love Letters was sparked by a meme I saw from the notebook that said ‘if Noah can write Ali a letter every day for a year, then he can text you back’. I’ve had so many friends who have cried on my shoulder about a boy or a girl who makes them feel hard to love - my younger self included! One that you make excuses for, one that makes someone question their self worth. So this song is with that in mind, written for a friend, reminding us all that we deserve THE MOST - for it to be just like the movies.” Listen here.

Love Letters follows the release of previous single, Lemonade. The track was added straight into Spotify's prestigious New Music Friday UK playlist (778k followers) on day of release, above Meghan Trainor & Nicki Minaj plus five other NMF playlists around the world. Lemonadealso received its first radio play, on Mollie King’s BBC Radio 1 show and has since been played on Scott Mills’ BBC Radio 1 show. It was also added to Apple Music’s biggest pop playlist, ‘The A-List Pop’. Watch the lyric video here.

Over the last few years, Hannah has released a slew of catchy tracks which have been streamed over 20 million times including her tastemaker-approved debut Raincheck which was Radio One’s Introducing Track of the Week, and recent fan favourite Not Yours Never Was from last year’s self-titled EP. The singer-songwriter has previously supported the likes of Rita Ora, Jess Glynne and Shawn Mendes to name a few. The sky’s the limit for Hannah Jane Lewis; she dreams of headlining iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in NYC and London’s O2 Arena someday. This year, Hannahis setting her sights on releasing lots of new music, and also getting back on the road and playing live shows so watch this space.

The rising star doesn’t remember a time when she didn’t want to be a singer. Hannah grew up taking singing and dancing lessons alongside learning how to play the piano. At 14, she moved to Florida with her family where she resided for 8 years before moving to New York City. After studying at the prestigious NYU Tisch School Of The Arts (alumni include Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, Anne Hathaway), Hannah returned to the UK to work on her own music.
