Conleth's latest single, is it a dig at local politics?

Lurgan born local guy Conleth Kane dropped his latest single at the weekend. An empowering song titled PROUD, there are lyrics in the song that most of us LGBT folk can relate to.

He penned the track himself and from listening to it you’ll instantly realise it’s based on his own experience as a gay man growing up in Northern Ireland. A delicate guitar based track which showcases Conleth’s vocal range. You just know from listening to PROUD that there will be LGBT people across the globe who will get strength from it.

Conleth has said that the song is particularly poignant given last weeks judgement in Northern Ireland relating to the marriage equality cases which were brought forward.
