If you go down to the woods today...

Say Forever at Finnebrogue Woods – Where you will find your unique happy ending!

Team GNI were invited to spend the afternoon at the launch of this magical wedding and events venue, the photographs alone on their website and literature make you go wow... visiting the venue makes you go WOW!

Set in a 200 Acre Lakeside farm Finnebrogue Woods has what it takes to make your big day or event extra special and full of memories. Husband and Wife duo Ed and Rachel have over 10 years in the industry between Tipis, Event Management and Design along with the running of the family farm. All of this was evident upon our arrival after following the easy directions provided via email with our invites.

We arrived to a long, leafy, lusciously green driveway to be directed by parking attendants as to where to park our vehicles. From there we had a short walk along a laid out path to where the Tipis were set up for a ceremony, dinner and dancing along with wood burning fires, strings of lights among the trees, animal pelts, live music and even a tractor and trailer set up with bails for an enchanting ride through a bluebell filled forest that looked like something out of a fairytale book.

If you are reading this and wondering will you need your wellies if the weather is bad... in one word NO! They have heavily invested in a high grade drainage system and special flooring to accommodate high heeled ladies (and some gents) at the Tipi site so their guests won’t need to worry about having adequate footwear.

Drinks were flowing at the reception with a selection of refreshments and canapes while the guests mingled and networked with live acoustic music being played via the sound system. It was time for the main feast of homegrown Finnebrogue Dexter beef, potatoes, salads and sauces galore, followed by homemade brownies and ice cream, tea and coffee all provided by preferred caters of the Lindsay Family. Speeches were made by Councillor Gillian Fitzpatrick of Newry Mourne and Down Council and the owners Ed and Rachel Lindsay.

All in all this unique lakeside venue has it all, can tailor to all requirements with the warmest and friendliest of atmospheres. For further information contact their team on Tel: 02844 103104 / www.finnebroguewoods.com / www.facebook.com/finnebroguewoods
