The confirmed cast of AHS season 6

It won’t be long until our favourite messed up horror show is back on our screens, though still several months away we're still excited. Every year the show takes on a new theme and revolves all the characters and settings around it in thrilling and creative ways.

Past seasons saw American Horror Story visit the coven in New Orleans, a freakshow in Florida and a haunted hotel in L.A. Fan theories are wild all year around with speculations for the upcoming seasons but for now, were still in the shadows regarding it. The only thing we have to go on is creator Ryan Murphey saying,

"I think the show has always felt to me like an opera, so I think both of the things we’re writing right now will have a certain feel.” He added: “But, I think I know what the winner is.”

What we do know for sure is what cast members are returning. Some of the biggest names in TV and film have graced Ryan Murphey's hit show and will continue to. During a press conference with several cast members at PaleyFest, Murphy said,

“I will tell you that every darling person up here that wants to come back can come back.”

The cast members he was referring to include Angela Basset, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Sarah Paulson Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Finn Wittrock, who’ll all be returning for the latest outing of the horror anthology series.

Lady Gaga came out a few weeks ago and said she is more than happy to return to the show, especially after her award winning, Golden Globe, performance last year. Fan favourite and previous leading lady, Jessica Lange left last season and is missed but who knows if she'll return in the future. God we hope so.
