A man has tried to marry his laptop to fight same-sex marriage
The 38 year old is so against same-sex marriage he has taken a lawsuit against the state of Texas after they refused to allow him to marry his computer.

Chris Sevier, an amateur EDM producer is protesting the Supreme Court's decision to allow same-sex marriage by marrying his computer. We don't know how this makes sense but it's happening.
He believes that due to the Supreme Court's decision to allow 'morally disgusting things' he has to step in, with his computer wife and make things right again. In an interview with Houston Press, he said,
"The question is, should we have policies that encourage that kind of lifestyle?
“The state is not doing anyone any favors by encouraging people to live that lifestyle. We have to define marriage.”
He added that his lawsuit “is not a matter of who’s on the right side of history. This is about who is on the right side of reality. Are we delusional?”
Attorney General Ken Paxton, Jr. who dismissed the case has said,
“The right to marry one’s computer is not an interest, objectively, deeply rooted in the nation’s history and tradition such that it qualifies as a protected interest,”
This isn't the first time Sevier tried to marry his computer. In 2014 in another attempt to fight equal marriage he took his case to court again, saying he had fallen in love with his machine.
