Getting into and staying in character can be difficult, but the Joker actor seems to have no problem.
Jared Leto who will be playing the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie has said he resorted to some strange activities to stay in character.
Also sending a live rat to Margot Robbie, playing Harley Quinn, Jared wanted to live up to his iconic screen character, and he certainly does.
In an interview with E! Online, the actor said,
"I did a lot of things to create a dynamic, to create an element of surprise, a spontaneity and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there.
“The Joker is somebody who doesn’t really respect things like personal space or boundaries.”
Will Smith also chipped in on Jared alter-ego, saying,
“He went full Joker! Never go full Joker. He really set the tone… he was 100 percent going into this character.”
Some of the crew members have recently come out and said Jared's acting was so intense and thorough that they only got to know the real him and not the Joker after the filming had finished.
